My COOK line is a SAMUEL COOK born about 1818, maybe in Alabama. I have been unable to find a record of his birth. Family legend has it that he came to Kentucky from Alabama with three daughters. After he reached Kentucky he married HARRIETT CONDER about 1846. No record has been found of his three daughters so no one knows is the story is true. He died in Boyle County, Kentucky on January 4, 1906. His children were Robert Dale, Elizabeth, Martha Agnes, John Payne, Malinda Frances and Samuel David, Jr. Any information on Samuel or his children would be very helpful.
