I am still searching for solid leads, not circumstantial evidence, on what became of Joseph COOK and Mary, parents of Richard COOK. Joseph is last known to be living in 1810 in Nova Scotia when Richard was born. Apparently he is not in the picture in August 1825 when his son Richard was baptized at the age of 15. Mary had married a gentleman with the surname of RING befor Richard's baptism in August 1825. After this all pertinent records indicate Joseph crawled under a rock. Any information about the whereabouts of Joseph COOK is greatly appreciated.
