I don't have anything to help you but more questions...I am looking for my great great grandmother Ada. A. Cook, have a marriage liciience with ner name listed as Ada A. Cook married Lamar County, Alabama to Joseph Farley in around 1847. Her mother signed for her, but her mother is listed as Lucy Brown. I think she remarried after having Ada. In 1910 census of Lamar County, Alabama, I find the family living there along with Ada's widowed mother Lucy Brown. Ada A. Cook lists on the census that she came from south Carolina, but her mother from Mississippi. Do you think we may be looking for the same people????? Pat North Carolina
