Married Lula Wenger b: February 22, 1872 in VA m: February 09, 1899 in Clifton, Illinois d: November 08, 1965 in Oregon The Cooks moved from Virginia to Illinois in 1885. James Washington Cook moved to Watertown, South Dakota in 1901. He had two children: (1) Perry Thomas Cook b: December 1899 in Ashkum, Ill. (2) Lester Daniel Cook b: January 10, 1901 in Ashkum, Illinois d: January 14, 1938 in South Dakota, married Ruth Marie Ames b: August 11, 1898 in Iowa d: October 02, 1968 in Watertown, South Dakota Lester Daniel Cook was my grandfather.
