Hi Cookies: It's been awhile since I posted to the list. I am searching for the parents and siblings of James Harrison COOK born abt. 1840 in Ohio. He married Velora BRYANT born abt. 1838 in Huron Co., Ohio, daughter of Ansel D. BRYANT and Lydia VINING ( I don't have a date or place of marriage). The parents of both James COOK and Velora BRYANT were born in New York. This is the only information I have on James parents. I found some early COOK marriages in Huron Township in Erie Co., Oh. and i'm wondering if one of these could be his parents. Erie Co was formed from Huron Co. in 1838. They are: Edwin COOK m. Eliza V. D. COOK 6 Sept. 1838 John B. COOK m. Eleanor AMMERMAN 18 Feb. 1834 John COOK m. Catherine SHAFINER 5 Dec. 1837 Johnathan COOK m. Olive BURDUE 23 Nov. 1835 Hiram COOK m. Mary E. VINING 31 Oct. 1838 Does anyone know if any of these couples has a son named James or James H. or James Harrison COOK b. abt. 1840. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Dee
