Hi I am seeking information on my grandfather's family. He was Charles Lawrence Cook, born in Salem, AL in Barbour county in 1866. He married Alberta Malloy, also born in Salem. His father was William Cook and I think he was born in Jasper, GA (Pickens County). This is where I hit a wall. Charles is buried in Birmingham, AL and his children were Lennis Preston Cook, my father, Kathleen Cook and Charles J. Book. If anyone can help me to keep moving backwards, I will be most appreciative. Thanks.
