    3. I got some stuff from Wilson Co., KS that I had requested, hoping to come across more info on Augustine COOK and his family or a mention of my elusive Mahala Jane COOK. If anyone can connect to these documents, please let me know. I got the following wills and probate records. They are online at http://members.tripod.com/Nettie_Mae/kscooks.htm A petition dated 1877 requesting that Robert Cook be appointed administrator of the estate of Geo. W. Cook. All they want to do here is sell his cattle. It doesn't mention any family names at all. App for the appointment of Emma J Cook to be the guardian of minor children of Wm. P Cooke, dec'd dated 1910. Children were: William H age 11, Ruth M. age 7, Merle P age 4, and Walter L age 2. The will of Sarah K Cook from 1907. The odd thing here is that Wilson Co., Kansas is crossed off and Jackson Co., MO written in. Her beloved children were: Irene? Hall of Salem Oregon, Florence Forest of Kansas City MO, Ella Machelhaney??? of Kansas City MO, John C. Cook. There is a farm "situated the North East Quarter except three acres in a Square form in the North West corner there of Section Eighteen in Township number Twenty Eight of Range number fifteen East continuing one hundred and fifty seven acres more or less". John was to continue farming and pay the girls from the farm money. Witnesses were Calvin Toomey, Mrs Annie S. Sadleir?? and Mrs Minnie Evans.
