Private/Teamster in Co. B. Gano's Squadron Texas Cavalry..assigned to Co. A & B under the 7th Regiment of KY. Cavalry. Served for one year. Children: Richard Edgar b. 1864, Mary E. b. 1865, Helen H. b. 1869 all in Whitesboro (Grayson) TX. William E. b. 1874 and James Wilkens b. 1879 in TX.
