John Henry Cook's father may have been named William Cook and one sibling may be named Robert W. Cook. John H. and his wife Fanny are found in the 1880 census of Floyd Co., KY with all the children except Mary Ellen who was married and living nearby with husband Samuel H. Isaacs. Young John and his second wife, Ella, moved from Floyd Co., KY to Magoffin Co., KY to Johnson Co., KY and in the 1920's moved to Greenup Co., KY where they lived until his death in 1952.
