Am researching several Cooks..family legend has it several Cook brothers walked from ? Tn. to Arkansas, started families, and some moved to McDonald County Missouri. We are descendants of that line of Cooks...John and Laura. One of the brothers of John is believed to be Samuel W. He was in McDonald County along with his wife Elizabeth and children (all born in Arkansas)...David, Sarah, Sebastion, Jasper,Charlotte, Dalton, Marilla, and Lancefair. They were in Missouri in 1880 census. Ring any bells for anyone???will share info...Nelda
