    3. Matthew, This is a long shot, but I have been looking in vain for the family of my ancestor Phoebe/Phebe Cook who married William HICKS (b. 1796) -- whose parents emigrated to Ross Co., OH, from Dorchester Co., MD. Could these families have been associated with one another? I notice your list of John Cook's children didn't include a Phoebe, but might he have had siblings who also came north? As I said, a long shot -- but you never know! Nan Runde mercat@eznet.net >Hi All, > >I keep hoping for that elusive match, but so far no luck.
