Roberta, Thanks for the list. The Botetourt Co. marriages are definitely my family. Charles (m. Lydia St. Clair) is my 3g grandfather. He was born in York Co., Pa. in 1786. He and his brother Jacob Jr. (m. Nancy Noftzinger) were the sons of Jacob Cook, a minister who appears in the county records as performing marriages in the 1795-99 time period. It is believed that the other Cooks listed, along with two females, Sarah Cook, m. Randolph Abshire on Feb. 24, 1817 and Elizabeth Cook, m. John Fluke on May 14, 1827, are also children of Jacob.
