Adam Cook and his son Michael Cook settled in Ashe Co., NC. The area later became Watauga Co. NC. Michael was born in 1773 and married Ann Elizabeth Arney. My mother, Virgie Cook Burgess, had made a connection to the Adam Koch who arrived on the Duke of Bedford in Philadelphia in 1751. I have been unable to find documentation in her papers and would like to hear from anyone who may be able to point to the right direction.
