Hummm Geocities is improving things for those of you that use AOL (I also have an active account with AOL). The biggest problem with Geocities is the problem with popup ad's, if you get one of these ad's just simply close that screen. The CL's with geocities are tring to get memebrs to install banners so the popups don't come up but you know how that goes. But anyhow there is a wonderful place you really should try on Geocities and that's Heartland Genealogy Society, this is a Genealogy society only for Geocities sites there's almost 3,000 sites listed there. Hgs also has a surname registry for the members, that your free to check out. I promise you you won't have problems viewing the HGS site and if you do Please let me know so we can fix it.
