Hello! I am seeking any information that you might have regarding my gggrandmother, Sarah J. Cook Allison. From the 1870 Census of White County, Illinois, I found that she was born about 1840 in Alabama. Sarah Cook married William H. Allison on March 29, 1859 in Phillips County, Arkansas. They moved to Illinois in the early 1860s, and three of the children, Mary, Martha and Ulysses Grant Allison, were born in White County, Illinois. Between 1870 and 1873 the family moved back to Phillips County, Arkansas, where the twins, Ed and Robert, were born. By 1880, both Sarah and William had died, and the children were living with families in Wayne and White counties in Illinois. I would appreciate any help with Sarah's parents and other relatives.
