Hi Paul...I am intrigued by your post. I am looking to find out if a gg-uncle, Charles COOK/COOKE, b. ca 1853 ON, CANADA, lived to have a family. His birth family were Wesleyan Methodists. We know his oldest sister Margaret J. was b. in Marysburgh, PE co., and his two younger sisters Eliza Lillie & Rosetta were born Hamilton. He had another sister, Alice b. ca 1850. (At Lillie's 2nd marriage in 1886, one of the witnesses was a Mrs. Wilson.) I have these COOKEs traced back to Thomas Sr from England who came to Canada as a soldier in 1776 & Jr. b. Kingston, Frontenac co., ON. They were Anglican. This is long shot but will be interested in who you find to be Allen COOKE's parents. Do you belong to any Canadian lists yet? If not, I would be happy to forward your query to EONTGEN for eastern Ontario genealogies. BTW, do you have any other info on Allen and his wife Eliza Wilson?
