Looking for the parents of Nathan Cook, b. circa 1765 in Virginia, d. cir 1840 in Hancock [probably] Co, GA. Believe his father is either Drury Cook, or John Cook, two of the sons of Henry Cook, b. circa 1690 Surry Co, VA, d. 1774 Brunswick Co, VA. Former family researchers have shown him as a son of Drury Cook/Matilda Fennel. However, so far, no proof of this parentage has been found. Drury's brother John had a son, Nathaniel Pearson Cook.
