Hello, I also have a William Cook although I know very little about him. He was born around 1775 and lived in Vermont. Married a women named Rachel. This is my 4th great grandfather. He had a daughter Laura H. Cook who was born in 1808 in Vermont. She married Silas R. Burdick and moved to Wayne Co. NY. She possibly had brothers George, Solomon, and Washington or at least those Cooks lived nearby in Wayne Co. and also nearby when Laura and her family moved to Kalamazoo Co MI in 1854. I am at a loss on how to locate any other information on this man. What I do know is from Laura's death record. Thanks Sandy
