    1. [COOK-L] Re: COOK-D Digest V99 #46
    2. TO CARLA: Hello I am Lori I have a name that might fit into your Virgil if.. does Virgil ever go by VICK? I am searching for information on Lou (Lou Vernie maybe) or Lue or (Sue?) COOK. And her family. I found her on a 1880 census White Cnty, TN John COOK abt 1848 TN Farmer wife Jane unknown abt 1847 NC keeping house children: William COOK abt 1865 TN farm laborer Mary COOK abt 1868 TN Samuel COOK abt 1880 TN Lou COOK abt 1872 TN died abt 1936 Spouse Thomas Lee MELUGIN Arizona Zeola COOK abt 1877 died abt 1924 TN spouse Charley Hervey AVANTS John S COOK June 1879 TN There maybe more children not yet born as of this census date. A delayed birth certificate for my grandfather Beecher MELUGIN was signed by a VICK COOK in 1943 Also a Roy Glass signed this delayed certificate not related by blood or marriage this was in Fannin County, TX . Vick maybe a younger bother or cousin or nephew of Lou. It would help to know about this Vick and that I am following the correct COOK line. Please forward any information related to these persons to. Now I am wondering if time a place work (general area) Could My VICK be Virgil? William was the son of John COOK william was the older brother of Lou. Maybe William had a VICK (Virgil) and sighned my grandfather Melugin's certificate. It would be nice to finally find a connection. ALSO: Same census next door were living Aron W M 78 Attens at grist mill Malinda W F 60 keeping house William W M 46 Son Mill wright wodowed Maybe related to above family? Lori at Hummerrfun@aol.com (note two r’s) Thank you.
