Does anyone come off of this Asa Cooke (b 6-12-1720 Kingston Ma) and married to Susannah (Lusannah) Bryant? Asa died bef 4-1777 in Mendham, Morris Co., NJ...He was the brother of Jacob Cooke and Uncle to Jemima. It's said children of Asa and Susannah are: Lucy Cooke (b1753) Solomon Cooke and Stephen Cooke. I've not verified any of these births. My true objective is to find the parents of Ziba Cook (b5-8-1760). Ziba was married to Jemima Cooke, the daughter of Jacob Cooke and Phebe Lindley.. they had 8 children and Ziba died in Fredrickstown, Oh., Knox Co. 1823. Ziba's first child was named Solomon (b2-4-1788) so we wonder if he named him after his father - Solomon (son of Asa). It's always been said Ziba was a cousin to Jemima. Thanks for any leads...
