Hello COOK-L researchers I am descended from Robert Cook, Sr.; born Dec. 18, 1763; died Oct. 8, 1832; buried in Flint Hill Baptist Church Cem., York County, SC. His wife was Elizabeth. died Nov. 9. 1829, She is buried same place. I am from their son Powell Cook that married Hannah Baker on Oct 29, 1817 in Mechlenburg County, NC-John Dillerman was the bondsman. Does any of this ring a bell?
