Dear Lisa, I want to thank you for taking the time to write about the problem with Rootsweb losing the Palladium sponsorship. I am a subscriber to your list and also am the owner of the Urban mailing list but for some reason did not receive the listowner message from Tim. I appreciate you keeping us informed. I copy and pasted your message into an e-mail which I then sent to the Urban list. I'm hoping they will start to send donations in to Rootsweb. Myself, I'm thinking of upping my donation to the Donor level instead of the Sponsor level I'm at now. If everyone who participates in these lists would just send in $12 a year I think it would more than take care of Rootsweb's financial problems so that the owners of Rootsweb would not have to take personal loans out to make ends meet.
