Dear Listers, After watching the news on TV and reading the article in the Toronto Sun Newspaper on Friday morning regarding the terrible injustice that has fallen upon the Middleton family, I asked and received permission to send this letter to all the lists I am on and ask that you forward it on to any lists that you are on. The family has put up a website about what took place in Bermuda, I will list the URL after this brief letter. 17 year old Rebecca Middleton was murdered in Bermuda and this past Dec. 15 one of her murderers was found not guilty. I don't personaly know the Middleton family but we as genealogists know that at one point in time through the scheme of things we will find that Rebecca was a cousin to all of us. I would like you to visit their website and send in your comments and write the Attorney General of Bermuda (email address is posted at the site) and make it known to the Attorney General's office that you agree with the Middleton family that an inquiry should be held in this horrible miscarrige of justice. We all know that at one point in time we have to bring closure to the death of a loved one, however, with this latest turn of events it will be a long time before the Middleton family will be able to do this. By writing the Attorney General of Bermuda we can at least help share the burden that has fallen upon the Middleton family. I spend hundreds of hours working on my site with the Historic Plaques, my genealogy and the Simcoe County Genweb page and The Canadian query boards in order to help you research your family tree, I only ask that you spend a few minutes of your time to visit this following URL. http://www.boycottbermuda.com/ Regards Wayne Cook http://www.waynecook.com and your host for the Simcoe County Genweb page at http://www.waynecook.com/simcoe.shtml Wasasga Beach, Ontario, Canada 1.
