Hello everyone in Cook Land: I trust that everyone had a great Christmas and are enjoying the Festive Holiday Season. I have been trying to track down a Holden Cook who came from Horncastle, Lincolnshire County, England for approximately a year now and finally had a great result. I have tracked down some of his famiy but would like to check on the 1841 census for that area because I cannot seem to locate one son that I know exists but is not listed on the church records in the Horncastle area. Here is what I have so far: Holding Cook (also known as Holden) married Mary Graves at Hemingby on June 1, 1824. The following details are taken from the Wesleyan methodist Chapel in Horncastle. Susan, daughter born Mar 10 1826, baptised Mar 30 1826 Eliza, daughter born Mar 10 1826, baptised Mar 30, 1826 Thomas, son born Sept 20, 1827, baptised Oct 25 1827 William, son no birth date given , baptised Mar 29 1832 ( I have a birthdate of Feb 27 1832 which ties in with the baptism date) Elizabeth, daughter born Jul 4 1836, baptised Jul 4 1836 I do hope someone out there has a copy of the 1841 census for this area of Horncastle and would be able to look this information up for me.
