That is my big problem, not knowing the location in Germany where the COOK/KOCH families were before 1860 and after 1832. As you probably know, Bavaria in 1848 included the Palatinate, West of the Rhine River and some areas East of Hesse. Keep sending your KOCH messages. Maybe I will see a possibility for the GERMAN research. My George had children named: GEORGE b 1860 PA, CHRISTIAN, CAROLINE, CHARLES ALEXANDER b 1864 PA, ANNIE, AMELIA. He had a grandson named CHARLES LAWRENCE (Lorenz?) b 1900.
