Hi, I just rejoined this list. I am looking for Cooks in Sabine Parish, LA or Sabine Co., TX. I am looking for the parents of John Foster Cook born 06 July 1896 in either Sabine Parish, LA or Sabine Co. TX. He was raised by William David and Mary Carter living in Sabine Parish, LA. We understand that he was given to the Carter's when he was only weeks or months old. He lived in Sabine Parish with the Carter's until after 1910 when they moved to Texas he came with them. When he was 20 years old the Carter's adopted him. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Selida Carter
