Hello EDWARD !! WALLACE EARL COOK, here in the snowy hills of TN. I found that one can not believe the census in every case!! That's " not" believe the census. My Grandfather COOK, told me his Grandfather Thomas O'CONNOR FLYNN, came from Ireland. The Federal census shows that my Irish Grandfather came from Wales!!! I have a copy of his naturalization papers, he definitely is from CLARE COUNTY, IRELAND. So in conclusion, we can not take what the census says as etched in stone. Have a great day!! _Wallacearlcook@aol.com_ (mailto:Wallacearlcook@aol.com)
Wallace Earl, I was amused of your remarks. I agree about census reports and the location---County Clare, Ireland. My grandfather, Thomas Blake, was born in County Clare ca. 1849. He married my great-grandmother in 1871 in Kentucky. Several years ago, I made an attempt to trace his origin, but it didn't happened. Thanks for your note.
