I am new to the list and hope that someone out there can help me. I have 2 Cook connections, so it might get a little confusing. Right now, I'm working on one specific line. William J Cook born 8 Mar 1862 Wentzville, St. Charles, Missouri died 25 Mar 1938 Greybull, Big Horn, Wyoming married Sena M Brodie (Here's where it gets confusing; she's his first cousin once removed thru William F Cook's brother Frederick A. Cook.) 3 Sept 1910 Snow Creek, Franklin, Virginia William's parents are: William F Cook born abt 1811/1812 Franklin County, Virginia died 1872 St. Charles County, Missouri Elizabeth Harriet McClenny born abt 1823 prob St. Charles County, Missouri William's siblings are: Emma Cook born abt 1854 St. Charles County, Missouri John Mordecai Cook abt 1856 St. Charles County, Missouri Mary Cook abt 1859 St. Charles County, Missouri Elizabeth Cook >From a letter written by my great grand aunt (Sena's sister) it appears that when William F Cook died in 1872, his wife Elizabeth Harriet McClenny remarried and with her new husband and children moved to Montana. I don't know the new husband's name, but from the book, Mordecai's Mount, I have gleaned the following information: Emma married N.E. Jenkins of Duprey, Montana and had 3 children. John Mordecai married Jennie Hyatt and had 2 children. Mary married AO Enderly and had 2 children. Elizabeth married Daniel O'Connor and had 1 child. Can anyone provide me with any more information on this family? I grew up in Montana and would love to know if there are still some of the Cooks from this line living there. Thanks in advance, Janae
