    3. Hi Alan (and the rest of the gang) Jan Rose and I are looking for John Cook, born ca. 1772/3 likely in Salisbury, Litchfield Co., CT. He married Sarah/Sally (surname unknown) and was living in Madison Co., NY by 1807, thereafter lived in Oneida Co., (1820-50) after that in Bergen Co., NY. John's children, Dwight Ray Cook (1807-1878) and Jonas Cook (1811-after 1880) and grandchildren were living in Herkimer Co., NY, and Rockland Co., NY. Does any of this info tie in with your line and can you give us some dates so we can see if there is a connection? Thanks for your help.
