George Cook born in 1841 in Stanstead Abbots married Martha Bird 14 May 1864 Parish Church, Standstead, Hertford. In 1881 George and family where living at Dwelling: 49 Lower Shadwell,Shadwell, London, George COOK was 39 years old and Occ Hostler (HM) his wife Martha COOK aged 38 was born in Stanstead, their children where: Alice COOK U 13 F Stanstead Rel: DaurOcc: Scholar Arthur COOK 8 M Stanstead Rel: Son Occ: Scholar Walter COOK 6 M Stanstead, Rel: Son Occ: Scholar My grandmother Louisa Maud Cook was born later on 24 October 1886 at 52 Love Lane, Bow Bells, Stepney. George was the son of Charles Cook and Clarris Unknown. I only know of one other child : Eliza. I know nothing about Louisa's siblings other than one of them had twins and it may of been Alice.
