Looking for information on the William M. COOK family listed in the 1880 Bollinger Co, MO Census. 30. COOK, William M. 62 Susan 49 wf Sarah E 21 dau Asa E. 19 son Tellitha C. 17 dau Almedia E. 14 dau Jane B. 12 dau Jacob N. 18 son William, Susan, Jane (m. LIMBAUGH), Sarah (m. COOK) and some of their children are buried in the cememtery at Scopus Mo. Susan obit list her as being born 2 miles from where she lived at Scopus, MO. She was the mother of 11 children, 6 of them surviving her at the time of her death March 26th 1908. She was 77 when she died and had been a widow for 22 years. A record on William stated that he died Apr. 23, 1886. He was 68 at the time of his death. It said that he was b. in TN and had lived in MO 66 years. Asa m. Polly OLDS. At one time was a sheriff in Madison County, MO. Also looking for decedents of George COOK's (b. abt 1786 NC) family. He married Ann LIMBAUGH. They were from Madison Co, MO and some of his decedents end up in Bollinger County. Some of the children are; Jacob (m. Catherine STEPHENS), Thomas (m. Sarah STEPHENS), and George Benjamin (m. Laraney LIMBAUGH). George (b. 1786) and Ann's son Jacob have a son Napoleon. He marries Sarah Elizabeth Cook (d. to the William COOK & Susan above.) Napoleon & Sarah are my g-grandparents.
