With the new activity, let me post my brickwall once again: Seeking the identity of a female Cook/Cooke (FNU) who married (ca. 1815-1818) my ggg-grandfather Lyddall BACON of VA & SC, later migrating to Bibb, Elbert, Richmond, Stewart counties in GA, settling in Marion county, GA. She would have been born ca. 1790-1795, and probably died before 1850. She and Lyddall had daughters Keziah, Martha, Elizabeth, and Sarah (Sallie) and sons Edmund & Langston, all born between 1815 & 1822. She is said to have been from strict Primative Baptist roots, and is thought to have married Lyddall when he traveled through SC from VA to GA. It is also believed that she had family who moved into Alabama close enough to Marion Co, GA, that her eccentric daughter Sarah (Sallie) would travel to and from there over the state line on foot to visit them.
