In my tree I have Daniel Cook b.1753, son of Thomas Cook and Mary Robinson, in Moorsholm, North Yorkshire UK. This Daniel was brother to Isaac Cook b. 1876 in Moorsholm, North Yorkshire, UK who married Elizabeth Lowe in 1788 at Skelton, North Yorkshire, UK and they had a son Daniel b. 1798 in Moorsholm, North Yorkshire, UK he married Sarah[?} I have no evidence as to whether or not Daniel b 1753 stayed in the UK. John, I have a Thomas Cook, b. abt 1600 in Netherbury, Dorset, England. He m. Mary ??. He was my 8th g grandfather. I know its not your Thomas Cook but you may have some info.
