Looking for information on my grandfather John E. Cook. I don't have a birth date or location, but probably around 1880, maybe from the midwest. I believe his father was William A. Cook, (no dates). and his mother was Sarilda Jeanette Moffitt, born around 1860 in Buffalo Ford, Randolf, NC. daughter of Adam Urban Moffitt and Nancy Cheek. This has been a real brick wall!
