    1. [COOK] Benjamin Cook

    3. With all the Cook's that are migrating to Alabama does anyone have a Benjamin Cook born about 1771 in Virginia. He moved to GA at some point before Nov 1810 where I believe he married as a second wife Elizabeth Hudson in Elbert Co. He had at least one daughter named Lucy born ca 1805. She married John S GREEN Oct 1 1822 in Hancock Co., GA. The Green's moved around that time to Montgomery Co. AL and were living in the area of that county which became Macon Co. Benjamin was in Macon Co AL by the 1840 census. Benjamin died March 7 1852 in Macon Co. Any help finding any info on this family would be greatly appreciated. Who was Benjamin's first wife, were the other children? Who were his parents and/or siblings. This line has been a tall brick wall that I'd love to see tumble or at least crumble a bit.
