I only learned of the 1st wife Abigail via DAR. John met Dolly PARKER following the 1778 battle at Monmouth NJ, they married 1779, he was 31, she 22. Thus I assume Abigail had died by 1779 but I don't know where - NJ NY or maybe CT. Does anyone have descendants of the first marriage with Abigail?
