    1. Re: [COOK] JOHN COOK TO US 1757
    2. Do you have anything in your research on a Daniel Cook from England?. Supposedly, he settled in Maryland then went to Virginia. I have no dates. The wife came with him, but no name on her. A son, born in Maryland, married Feebe (Phoebe) Mastin of Virginia (again, no dates.) Their son, Daniel Cook (Rev. War), m. Ruth Moultrie. (I regret.....no dates.) Daniel Cook and Ruth Moultrie's son, (another) Daniel Cook, 1799-1878), (War of 1812,) Chesterfield Dist., SC, m. Martha Warren Norwood, (1799-1840) dau. of (Capt) John and Mary Warren Dubose Norwood on Jan. 28, 1818, Darlington, SC. They settled in GA for awhile before coming to Possum Bend, near Camden, AL (Wilcox County) where they built beautful Cook Hill which continues to be occupied by Cooks, and is on tour from time to time. Nearby is the Cook Hill Family Cemetery in which Daniel and Martha and several generations of Cooks are interred. Any info will be appreciated. Robbie Cook Purser RobbiePurser@aol.com
