Although I've rarely found anyone with a complete tree for this family, they seem to have had several possible children including: Ann Cook m. William Knight Elizabeth Cook m. William Garlick George Cook m. Nancy Benefield Juda Cook m. Berry Angell Cornelius Cook m ? A lot of this is based on speculation - and like I say, you should probably take it with a grain of salt, I've had a real hard time trying to find primary records for this family. But I think that my James Cook may be the son of Cornelius Cook. The Henry Cook who married Elizabeth Angel is said to be descended from a Neal (Cornelius) Cook who was born abt 1657 in England or Ireland and died in Chester Co., PA in 1738. I have participated in the COOK DNA project without any close COOK matches so far. If anyone out there is a known direct COOK descendant of this Neal COOK line, please get in touch with me. I'd love it if we could compare results in the DNA project.
