Hi Ron, You may already know this but your Daniel Cook as well as some other Daniels are included in the two vol. set of "Thomas Cooke of Rhode Island" by Jane Fiske. She may still have the books for sale or you could have your library get them for you. Your Daniel is on pg. 311 of the Vol. 1. Hi Ron, Is your Daniel Cook(e) son of Abner Cook sho married Sarah Bennett, daughter of Phillip and Mary (Lake) Bennett? Abner was the son of Stephen and wife Mary Tallman. Stephen is the son of Thomas Cook(e) and Mary Cory. Thomas is the son of John and Mary Borden. John is the son of Thomas Cooke (alias Butcher)of Netherbury, Dorset, England. If so, we are distant cousins. This line is beautifully documented by Jane Fletcher Fiske in her "Thomas Cooke of Rhode Island" Vol. I & II. I have these books if you do not, and would be glad to help. I am a descendant of Thomas Cooke born 1600 in Netherbury, Dorset, England and died 1677 in Portsmouth RI. My line is through his son Thomas > John 1652 Portsmouth to Tiverton RI > 1685 - 1764 born and died in Tiverton, Newport, RI > Silas died South Kingston, RI > Silas Tiverton, Newport, RI to New Bern, Craven, NC > Henry Marchant New Bern, Craven, NC to Randolph, Tipton, TN > Henry Lechmere New Bern, Craven, NC to Ellis County, Texas > Silas Lechmere Yalobusha Co., MS, to Ellis Co. Texas > Allie Mae Cooke Carpenter of Ellis County, Texas.
