    3. It is just possible that the hospital was the only place that had a TB unit for any patients that had it. They would have been in a unit by themselves and not with the regular hospital patients. We had such a unit at Napa State Hospital.     3. It is interesting that your ggGrandfather is named Jefferson Davis Cook. My 3rd great grandfather John Cook Sr. had a sister named Paula Cook Davis who was the mother of Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederacy, who was born in Logan county Kentucky.
