I'm new to this page and wondered if anyone could help me trace the birth of my GGgrandfather - Christopher COOK(E) bc 1801 ?where. He died 4.11.1848 aged 47 in Llanvair Kilgeddin in Monmouthshire. He married Rachel EDWARDS in 1826 in Llanfihangel Gobion in Monmouthshire and had at least four children. In the 1841 census it stated Christopher was not born in Monmouthshire hence my problem as he died before the 1851 census which might have told me where he did come from!
