Posted FYI: "Know all me by these presents that we Amos Cook principal and Francis Fletcher security all of the Yamhill District and Territory of Oregon are held & firmly bound into the Clerk of the Court of the Territory of Oregon for the use of whom it may concern in the penal sum of Five hundred Dollars for the payment of which will and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of us our heirs executors and administrators (illegible) by these presents. The indenture of the above bonds is such that if the above bound Amos Cook shall faithfully and truly perform all the duties required by Law to be performed by him as Constable of said District and Territory then the above Bond to be void. Otherwise to remain in full force. Signed with our hands and sealed with our seals and dated at Yamhill District 19th of July 1843 in presence of A.
