Marie Allred ROBBINS, N.C. — Marie Cook Allred, 63, of 2774 North Highway 705, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at First Health Moore Regional Hosptial. A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of Sam Cook and Rosa Durham Cook. She was married to Felton Allred, who survives. She was a homemaker. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one daughter, Carolyn Hancock of Vass; two sons, Curtis Lee Britt and Dwight Dewey Allred, both of Robbins; five sisters, Barbara Wray, Mildred Gunell, Lois Turner and Catherine Bean, all of Providence, and Martha Riggs of Prospect Hill; four brothers, Garland Cook of Providence, Aubrey Cook of Burlington, Richard Cook of Pelham and Silas Cook of Chatham; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro with the Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Allred Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro and other times at 127 Emily Lane in Robbins. Pugh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
