Thanks for the e-mail, JESSIE COOK, b. 1806 /07 GA.is my brickwall. I'm a direct descendant of JESIE COOK & ELIZABETH--------. My grandfather Pinkney Fillmore Cook, told me , we had relatives that came from TN. in covered wagons, to GA. Dred Coleman Cook, JESSIE'S son told our family he was 1/4 Indian. I'm inclined to believe that ELIZABETH (COOK) is where the Indian comes in, but can't prove that, Don't know ELIZABETH'S maiden name.
