Edward, Do you have anything in your Cook info relating to the Daniel Cook (1795-1878) (wife: Martha Norwood (1799-1840) who came from Darlington Dist., SC to Wilcox County (Possum Bend near Camde,. AL)? If there appears to be a connection, I will give more background info. The earliest known of Daniel's ancestors was (another) Daniel Cook who came from England several generations before.
