It's the nature of this kind of list. Archive searching is possible, of course, but can be time-consuming and problematic, especially because many subject lines are so vague or general. Answering for my "cousin" Bob Cooke, the answer is that the second generation of the Peter Cook(e)/Elinor Norman family mostly moved from Pennsylvania to North and South Carolina and then, later, to Indiana and Ohio. A branch or two stayed in Pennsylvania, including Bob's ancestors. A few individuals went south and then returned to Pennsylvania in their later years.
