I'm looking for the parents of James Austin Cook. I've searched Cherry Valley and contacted the historian there and can't locate anything pertaining to his birth there. However he's listed this as his birth place on several documents including his CW pension papers. Several members of this line believe his mother was Almira and possible his father being Noah, however no one has ever come up with document proof and I won't assume this. James is buried in Canisteo, buried with him is a Hiram Cook Fish (is this his Brother?) some family members also say he has a brother William but no solid proof.
