    2. Searching for info on a Samuel CONVERSE. I have very little to search for at this point, however, i do know he was in Allegheny Co., NY on 2 Mar 1831 His daughter, Hulda Converse, was born on that day. Samuel was married to a Emeline Taylor. Any info would really be helpful. Would appreicate any advice or clues. Thanks! Peggy

    3. I am looking for the parents of Mariah / Maria CONVERSE, born 4 March 1801, supposenly in Granby, Hampshire Co., Mass. I have searched the Granby records, and cannot locate any Mariah Converse. Mariah Converse married George SCOTT 22 Feb 1821 in Belchertown, Hampshire, Mass. I also have not found here in Belchertown records, or Palmer, Brimfield, Cummington, Middlefield, Ware, Hardwick and Springfield records. There are alot of Converse people around, but no Mariah. After their marriage, George and Mariah moved to Allegany County, New York.

His father brought him to America when he was two after his mother died and later he was in Evart Mi. and m. Helen Adelia dau. of Henry Converse of Northfield VT. In trying to put this family together I need info on a Henry b. Apr 1785 who m. Susanna Latham in Washington Co VT. two known ch. Rubin b. 1810 and Betsey b. 1812. This Henry had a brother Francis and it is this Francis who is the f. of Henry father of Helen Adelia. Currier b. 1819, Marcia C. Currier b. 22 Nov 1822. John Currier remarried 22 Nov 1854 so I assume Marcia A. Converse died 1850-53. I hope someone has Marcia Converse in their lineage and can give me accurate dates and tell me who her parents and siblings were. Thank you.
