Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/4300/HgJ.2ACIB/122.1 Message Board Post: My great-grandfather was born in ireland however his family moved to glasgow, lanark in the 1870's his name was owen b.1860, his parents were martin conlin born around 1830 and margaret connelly b. in 1836 siblings were catherine born around 1858,michael 1862, martin 1867, john1869, mary 1871 owen married catherinr gaitens in 1882 and eventually came to the U.S. I know that michael and martin came over but I do not know if they stayed or what became of the others. According to the 1881 census they lived at 23 turner st and worked in an iron mill does anything sound familiar?
