My father was Raymond William Conlin. which made me a Jr., but I dropped the Jr. when he died in 1940. My son also became the same, and would have been the III'd, but my wife insisted he be a Jr., so he wound up being R. WIlliam Conlin, Jr. We called him Bill. My grandfather, born in Sandgate, Vermont US was John Conlin. He is buried there. My father was born in Malta, Illinois. His Mother was Maude LaBrant, and is buried in Malta, Illinois as is my Father. My Mother was Lucile M. Buckley, born in Chicago, Illinois, and buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois. He Mother was Mary Jane Carden Buckley. Her father was John Carden, born inSligo, Ireland in 1832, to the US in 1856. I will search my records for other info on the Conlin's and respond with that data. My son and I had journeyedd to VErmont last September to search the Conlin's, found some data, but a lot of dead ends. I have also a roll of film that I took that has yet to be finished and developed of the Cemetery in Sandgate, VT. Take care.
